Defeated in the scrums as the beast causes havoc, what was conceived as the one area where the Lions had an advantage was nulified and totally turned against them.
The first half line outs were chaotic at best and again SA dominated.
The Lions back always created space with O Driscoll and Roberts to the fore.
The ref came in for much stick in todays papers but I thought he had a good game and the defeat was not down to him.

Verdict: It was a case of too little to late and if the Lions forwards are unable to up their physical performance then the next game will prove even more one sided.

The best team won SA supremacy was confirmed by a 60 metre rolling maul, the Lions forwards starting in the front row need to regroup and rethink fast.

when our players play they must be positive at the breakdowns, players releasing the ball and tacklers rolling away. this never seems to happen! it frustrates the grass roots level supporter. as one rule for one and the same for the other.

i think you mean one rule for one and one (a different one, not same) rule for the other.
there only seems to be me and you on here at the moment i was trying to liven things up.
